Swimming Levels and Prices
Thank you for choosing Wet Set Scuba for all of your scuba and swimming needs. We are you Swim Lesson headquarters in Henry and Clayton County. We offer year round swim lessons for swimmers from Stockbridge, McDonough, Jonesboro, Rex, Ellenwood, and surrounding areas in our INDOOR/HEATED Pool!
To ensure that your child is placed in the correct level, a swim evaluation is required prior to entering the program, except for beginner level classes. This allows your child to demonstrate their skills and abilities to one of our trained instructors. Your child will enter the program at the level determined during this evaluation. Evaluations are $5.00 per swimmer and are available by appointment.
There is a $25.00 annual registration fee per swimmer and the 8 session classes are $110.00 per month / $130.00 for Adult Classes. Classes are held for 40 minutes each day and meet on Monday & Wednesday OR Tuesday & Thursday for 4 weeks, we also offer classes on Saturday for $65.00 per month / $85.00 for Adult Classes.
There are NO REFUNDS or MAKE-UPS for missed classes, just like any other event or practice the swim class will go on with or without you, please check your schedule before signing up.

Goldfish
(3 through 5 years) Children are required to be fully potty trained to enter this level. This class is designed to build a swimming foundation. Basic water safety and life jacket skills will be learned. Parents can watch from a distance. Arm floats are allowed.
Skills to be completed this level:
- Get in without crying
- Kicking feet with assistance
- Paddling hands with assistance
- Holding a kickboard while wearing arm floats
- Swimming unassisted with arm floats
Price: $110.00 Weekdays / $65.00 Saturdays
Seahorses
(3 through 5 years) Skills will increase with full-face submersion, bubble blowing, and breath holding. Safety skills will include getting help from others.
Skills to be completed this level:

Swim without arm floats
- Put face in for 5 seconds
- Jump in pool without arm floats
- Back float with assistance
- Put face in while swimming

Otters
(3 1/2 through 5 years) We will continue the learning of front stroke. Learning the elementary backstroke. Treading water for 4 minutes. Pool safety and tips. Begin learning the breaststroke.
Skills to be completed this level:
- Backstroke and Back Crawl
- Swim underwater and touch 4 feet
- Kneeling, Standing, and Spring Dive
- Whip kick
- Side stroke

Flounders
(6 years & Older) This class is designed for late learners. We will be covering all the skills needed to move on to the next class.
(Very fast moving)

- Swimming horizontally
- Treading water
- Front and Back Stroke
- Jump in deep water

Sea Lions
(6 years & Older) In this class we will be refining the Backstroke. Learning the Whip Kick for the breaststroke. Pool and Water safety.

- Breaststroke
- Swim the length of our pool
- Treading water 2 minutes
- Kneeling, Standing and Spring Dives

Dolphins
(6 years & Older) Introduction to the Butterfly. Refinement of Front, Back, and Breaststroke.
Swim 80 feet.
Skills to be completed this level:
- Learning all race starts
- Learning all flip turns
- Tread water 4 minutes
- Rescue and Survival Tips

Sharks
(6 years & Older) Refinement of all strokes - Front, Back, and Breast, and Butterfly. Water rescue.

- Be able to demonstrate knowledge of all strokes

Stroke Clinic
(6 years & Older) Refinement ands practice of all strokes - Front, Back, and Breast, and Butterfly.

- Refine & practice starts & turns
- Race the clock to improve times & skills

(15 and older) Basic and intermediate skills are practiced based on individual needs.
