Reserve Your Spot For Dive Alabama Rock Quarry

Pablo steering for the Tiki hut

Dive Alabama Quarry May 31 & June 1 2014: Dive Alabama rock quarry is a top destination for scuba training all around the Southeast. The benefits of completing your open water training (or other advanced dives) here include a current-free aquatic environment, wooden platforms which make skill demonstrations easy, plus lots of interesting wrecked cars and boats to explore.

There are things to see at multiple depths. In the shallows there are boyancy diamonds, concrete culverts you can swim through, a couple of fire trucks to check out. Some 80 feet below the surface lurks an entire school bus for the most intrepid of divers to inspect. If "Pablo" pictured above can find something to amuse himself with, we bet you can too!

Many prefer to get their training completed on this trip, then reserve all their dives in Key Largo for nothing but exploration and enjoyment of SCUBA diving.

Come find out why they call Key Largo the "dive capital of the world." Call us today so we can book your room and reserve your spot on the boat! Details

Join Our St. Kitts & Saba Vacation Extravaganza!

Turks & Caicos Explorer II, divers having fun!

St. Kitts & Saba (July 19-26, 2014): This trip features diversity like few other places. Marine life that is rare elsewhere is quite common here. Lots of turtles, octopuses, eels... no two divesites are alike in this aquatic wonderland. There are even a few interesting wrecks to explore! Details

There Is Just No Stopping Rusty McGee!

Rusty McGee goes ice diving

Scuba instructor Dave Gigowski likes to tell people Wet Set Scuba Divemaster Rusty McGee would dive in a mud puddle, given the chance. We're not sure if that is true, but one thing is certain: Rusty is always eager to splash down in either salt or fresh water for a little underwater exploration.

A "little" snow and ice may wreak havoc on Atlanta's traffic but it is no problem for an avid diver like Rusty. We do hope he didn't break his bum doing a giant stride into this frozen river, however. Or maybe he came to his senses before that could happen. Just wait, Rusty, our trip to Key Largo is only a short time away and we guarantee the only ice will be in your Rum and Coke!

Giant Lobster Tales...

Photo of monster lobster caught by Atlanta's Bruce Brown of Wet Set Scuba

On a wall at Wet Set Scuba is a photograph, sun-bleached and cracked by age. It depicts a true monster of the deep, the Kraken-sized Florida spiny lobster Bruce Brown caught somewhere near Steinhatchee, Florida. Click here to read the true story of this beastie's capture... and we also invite you to send in giant lobster photos of your own so we can include them along with YOUR true tales from the deep.
